Every lossmap pilot is FAA Part 107 certified and carries a minimum of $1,000,000 in commercial drone liability insurance. We verify credentials on onboarding and check renewals on schedule.
Drone flights require safe conditions, generally winds under 20 mph and no precipitation. If weather delays a shoot, we’ll reschedule at no cost and keep you informed. Our standard delivery window pauses during weather holds.
Thermal moisture surveys of commercial roofs are flown after sunset on a dry roof, and our pilots fly night operations under FAA Part 107. Near airports we fly with FAA authorization through LAANC. Disaster areas under a temporary flight restriction need a separate FAA authorization before anyone can fly, which can add time. We never fly over uninvolved people.
